Hi Everyone managed to connect my chromecast ethernet port and thought share experience for others no root hacks needed. Unfortunately I don have second CC set up to test. The Ethenet ASIX drivers are actually built into stock Android not sure what versions. I initially had some trouble getting the CCA to use wired rather than wifi but eventually got there by unplugging everything and back again.
